Who is the real Colin Woods? He is the depressive ex-husband father of three with a mid life crisis who can't get rid of the noise in his head. The guy who took his first job, all those years ago, to get money to buy a guitar amplifier and become a punk rock superstar.
Now the noise in my head is escaping for others to hear... so look out world...or at least: look out neighbours.
This year he embarked on a Diploma in Contemporary Music at Unitec as a kind of therapeutic exercise and because sometimes you just can't admit defeat, or if you can't beat them, join them.
As part of his Performance course he has to keep a learning log of some sort about stuff that happens at rehearsals and extramural stuff of relevance to his musical journey. So this is it. Now he can stop writing about himself in the third person.
